The Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation

The Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation was created by Francis and Carole Carrington in response to the disappearance of their daughter Carole Sund, granddaughter Juli Sund, and Silvina Pelosso at Yosemite National Park in February 1999. After Carole, Juli and Silvina were found, the Carringtons decided they would help other families who did not have the means to post rewards for their missing loved ones.

The foundation acts as a liaison between law enforcement, the victim's family and the media to bring swift attention to an abduction by offering a substantial reward for information in a timely manner. The family must be in financial need of the Foundation's assistance, and law enforcement must want the Foundation's help and believe it can make a significant difference in the case.
