Our nation faces many critical issues that need to be addressed, but surely close to the top of the list must be the protection of our country’s future – our innocent children.
There are many ways all of us can help missing kids and their grieving families. Among them: We must do all we can to protect our nation’s children from falling prey to those who want to do them harm by influencing the enactment of tougher laws, and encourage stricter enforcement of those already on the books. We must do all we can to influence the lawmakers of our land, especially, as it pertains to granting early releases to long-term imprisoned child abductors and molesters. We must continue to raise our voices until the political climate creates Federal changes that prohibit early releases of child offenders and killers, regardless of good behavior. It won't be long before one, then another sex offender will need to think twice before committing acts that permanently land them in prison or on death row.
Operation Lookout is offering the following links only for the purpose of providing information on sex offenders – on recently passed legislation – statistics on sex offenders – and other articles of interest.
This information has not been included on our web site to create alarm, but to enhance citizen awareness and increase community safety. Operation Lookout strongly condemns citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders. It is not only against the law, but it could end law enforcement's ability to notify the public. And if that happens, the sex offenders win because they depend on secrecy to maintain their power.
