Ways to help

Most of us depend on the printed word for invaluable information, but we are often asked for more information than we can supply with mere paper.

We'll keep you informed with special communiqués and reports of some of the youth who are missing through our missing Children "E"Lert when you sign up in our GUEST BOOK or by filling out the Subscribe to "E"Lert form .  To make these stories public information, we provide our families assurances of confidentiality, and, as a result, they provide us with a Worldwide Hold Harmless Agreement, thus they qualify as 'media ready' cases resulting from our strict screening protocol process.

We value you privacy. You are in control and can discontinue receipt of any email.

Email addresses provided directly or by third party friends are added to our ever-increasing Missing Child "E"Lert email lists for the express purpose to broad-scope blast a missing child's image to the public.

In an attempt to bring them home sooner, and to make sure the public is better informed about the children that are missing, we ask you to click on to the Missing Children Directory button. There are opportunities  to download any poster you wish to pin up in your community, in order to be of greater help to us in our search and recovery efforts.

To act as a Poster Partner volunteer, you must agree not to seek compensation, donations for your help, or imply that you are a member or representative of Operation Lookout.  You must not organize any search effort. You may not use posters in such a way that the public is mislead to believe you represent ANY missing children center or have the right to investigate this case, or that you are opening a new center.  Your act of pinning posters up is a simple act of charity, not to be construed as anything other than a volunteer act of kindness.

This missing Child communication was created specifically to keep caring citizens like you informed.  In order to keep updated on who is missing and who is recovered,  please visit our website anytime.

If you or someone you know has a missing, abducted or runaway child, call 1-800-LOOKOUT (1-800-566-5688).  Our 24 hour Helpline Operators are standing by to dispatch your call to the next available caseworker. All calls are responded to in the order in which they are received.  Operation Lookout will send you a missing child registration packet by mail or you may pre-register by logging on to www.operationlookout.org
