President George W. Bush said, “Americans must continue to work together to ensure the safety of our children... I urge all Americans to take an active role in upholding the safety of our communities and in defending the well being of our children. I call upon Americans to join me in commemorating this observance and to remember those young people who are missing. I also call on our citizens to recognize and thank those who work on behalf of missing children and their families. By renewing our commitment to protect our children from harm, we can save lives and prevent untold suffering and grief among the most vulnerable of our society.”
Not just on Missing Children’s day, but everyday, each of us, in our own way, must do all we can to bring our missing children home.
Partners tell us, ”Although we can’t go where the need is to search for missing children, give direction and comfort to their grieving families... through our support, Operation Lookout can — and does!”
When another child goes missing, among the many who are recovered, we feel the heartbreak of the family. Each time you send a gift, you are providing another opportunity for Operation Lookout to reunite families. That’s why we are so thankful for the faithful contributions from partners like YOU, who keep hope alive for so many.
No matter how large or small your gift, you couldn’t choose a better time than now to help us reach our goal of saving many more young lives.
Thank you for making the difference.
