AMBER Alert for Dustin Wade Shaver cancelled

UPDATE: The AMBER Alert issued for Dustin Wade Shaver was terminated Sunday morning about 7:18 a.m.  Sheriff’s deputies in Pittsylvania County told WDBJ7 Shaver is safe and all suspects are in custody. 

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police issued an AMBER Alert for a missing teen.

Dustin Wade Shaver, 15, was last seen at 320 Pannell Drive in Hurt, Virginia. Dustin was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue/brown shorts, and black/blue Addidas tennis shoes. Dustin also has a piercing on his right eyebrow.

Police have named the possible abductors as Denise Michelle Shaver, Dustin’s biological mother and another man, Kevin Scott Parrish.

Denise Shaver is described as a white female, standing at 5 feet 7 inches and 223 pounds with straight brown hair and blue eyes. Denise Shaver also has an eyebrow piercing on the right brow.

Kevin Scott Parrish is described as a white male, 5’10″ and 180 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

The abductors may be traveling in a green 1995 Jeep,  with a Virginia tag: VAC-5770.
