Missing Girl Found Alive

New York City – June 12, 2006

A Vermont teenage girl missing for nearly two years has been found alive
and well in New York City. Dominica Smolinski was a suspected runaway
when she disappeared at age 16 from her Westford home in 2004. Last fall,
she was the subject of a nationwide appeal on the CBS show “Missing.”
Police say Smolinski was located in New York City last month using an
alias and she failed to reveal her true identity until she was about to
be deported as an illegal alien.

Police say she has been reunited with her family in Vermont.
