Bus Driver Helps Girl Escape Would-Be Kidnapper

Metro Operator Gives Her Refuge Until Police Arrive

CINCINNATI — A Metro bus driver came to the rescue of a 13-year-old girl
when he saw a man trying to abduct her, police said.

The man approached the girl at the intersection of Reading Road and
Seymour Avenue in Roselawn.

The girl got away.

The bus driver saw it happen and told the girl to get on the bus until
police arrived.

Police are looking for a white man driving a newer-model burgundy Cougar
with Ohio plate CMM6863.

He was described 45 to 55 years old with salt and pepper hair.
